The New England Patriots continued to turn over their practice squad Thursday by signing guard Ian Silberman, according to his agent, Shane Costa.

Silberman, a 6-foot-5, 306-pound guard, was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft out of Boston College. He played one season at BC after transferring from Florida.

Silberman was released by the 49ers on Aug. 27. He played one game in 2015.

He ran a 5.14-second 40-yard dash at his pro day last March with 26 bench press reps of 225 pounds, a 27.5-inch vertical leap, 9-foot, 3-inch broad jump, 4.87-second short shuttle and 7.90-second 3-cone.

The Patriots must make a corresponding roster move to make room for Silberman. Here’s who was on the Patriots’ practice squad to begin Thursday.
