Red Sox Control Their Destiny With All Remaining Games Vs. AL East Foes

After Wednesday night’s series finale in San Diego against the Padres, every game the Boston Red Sox play will go toward deciding the American League East.

Boston has 23 games remaining when it returns to action Friday, and all of them will be played against division opponents. Entering Wednesday, the Red Sox are in a tie for first place with the Toronto Blue Jays. And while no one expects the Sox to go 24-0 (including Wednesday’s game) down the stretch, doing so would ensure a division title

NESN’s Tom Caron and Hall of Famer Jim Rice were joined by WEEI’s Rob Bradford on “Red Sox Gameday Live” to discuss the remaining schedule and the position the Red Sox have put themselves in down the stretch.
