Tom Brady is just a simple, basic man … you know, aside from being a four-time Super Bowl champion, arguably the greatest quarterback of all time and husband to one of the world’s most well-known supermodels.
Brady, also a spokesperson for UGG’s “Do Nothing” campaign, recently sat down with PEOPLE Magazine to discuss a variety of topics, including his football future and striking a balance between work and family.
When asked about his idea of a perfect date night with his wife, Gisele Bundchen, Brady gave a somewhat boring, albeit touching, answer that only will make him appeal to women even more than the New England Patriots quarterback already does.
“I like whatever it is, as long as we’re together, I’m cool with it,” Brady said. “Whether it’s movies or dinner or walks or whatever, our lives are busy. Especially during the football season for me, I don’t get a lot of time. But whenever I do get the time, it’s very precious time for me.”
For those of you who care more about Brady’s days on the gridiron than his dates with Gisele, you’ll be happy to know the 39-year-old still has no plans to retire anytime soon.
“I love playing football. I love preparing for it. I love thinking about it,” Brady told PEOPLE. “I’ve been that way since I’ve been 3 years old, so it’s hard to imagine not doing it. Although I know it will happen at some point, I’m not ready for that anytime soon.”
