Eduardo Rodriguez Explains How Rainy Weather Affected His Start Vs. Blue Jays

Eduardo Rodriguez didn’t have the best outing of his career Saturday night in a 4-3 Boston Red Sox loss to the Toronto Blue Jays, but he seemingly learned a lesson that could prove invaluable come the playoffs.

Saturday’s weather at Fenway Park was cold and rainy, and Rodriguez admitted his body got a bit chilly, and he struggled to stay loose on the mound, leading to some early struggles. With the weather not getting any warmer in Boston this season, it’s something E-Rod will have to get used to soon.

The left-hander spoke with the media after the game and discussed what he learned from the outing. Check out his thoughts, as seen on NESN’s “Red Sox Final,” in the video above.
