The New England Patriots have been mum, to say the least, about Tom Brady’s return from his four-game Deflategate suspension. So while the quarterback’s current teammates are falling in line with coach Bill Belichick’s approach and keeping things hush-hush, NESN.com’s Michaela Vernava got the scoop from one of Brady’s former teammates, NFL Network analyst Heath Evans.

Vernava asked Evans to describe what intangibles will return to the Patriots’ locker room along with Brady.

“Accountability,” Evans said on the “Between the Tackles” football podcast. “You don’t mess up around Tom and get away with it. I think people see the passion, they see the trash talk at times, they see the competitive edge, but how well he knows everyone’s responsibility inside and out is really the consistency that he brings to the table.”
