Patriots Sign Ex-Jets Linebacker Trevor Reilly To Practice Squad

FOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots shuffled their practice squad again this week by adding linebacker Trevor Reilly.

Reilly worked out for the Patriots on Wednesday and signed to the practice squad Thursday. He replaced wide receiver Shaquelle Evans, based on practice attendance. Evans signed to the practice squad last Wednesday.

Reilly, who will wear No. 53 with the Patriots, is 6-foot-5, 245 pounds. The New York Jets selected him in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of Utah. He has 31 tackles and one sack in 29 career games. He led the Jets in special teams snaps in 2015.

Reilly is one of only two defensive players on the Patriots’ practice squad. Here’s the full list.
