The Michigan Wolverines are destroying opponents this season, and they’re slashing prices on steaks at a local restaurant while they’re at it.

Michigan defeated Rutgers 78-0 on Saturday to improve to 6-0, and that margin of victory has resulted in customers of Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Ann Arbor, Mich., receiving 50 percent off steaks this week as part of a Facebook promotion.

The Wolverines’ average margin of victory was 32 entering Saturday. If you take out their 14-7 win over Wisconsin from last week, that average climbs to 38.25 points.

Ruth’s Chris should’ve known that Michigan beating Rutgers team by a lopsided score was a very real possibility, especially after Rutgers lost 58-0 to Ohio State last week. Rutgers has played three ranked teams this season, and it’s been outscored 184-13 in those games.

Luckily for Ruth’s Chris, it capped discounts at 50 percent after originally saying the discount would be the actual margin of victory. Still, that’s a pretty good deal for steak.
