Twitter killed Vine, leaving millions wondering what they’re going to do it for now.
The social media platform that allows users to post six-second videos for all their followers still will exist online, but Twitter announced Thursday that it would discontinue the Vine app. But even though it was a time for mourning, it also allowed internet users everywhere to reflect on their favorite Vines, and with plenty of sports-related clips, we decided to share some of ours.
First, the Midwest Junior Hockey League gave the world this gem featuring a player clothes-lining himself with his own stick.
There was that time then-Charlotte Hornets guard Gerald Henderson nailed an unsuspecting woman in the face with a basketball.
And that time LeBron James got nailed in the face with a basketball.
