With the Indians hosting the Chicago Cubs in Game 1 of the World Series across the street at Progressive Field, the world champion Cavaliers finally will get their championship rings and raise their first banner.
The Cavaliers, led by LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, will face one of the NBA’s newest “super teams” when they host the New York Knicks, who added Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah to Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis this offseason.
The Cavs moved up their ring ceremony to 7 p.m. ET to accommodate the Indians, and the game is expected to start at 7:30 p.m. on TNT.
