Who’s ready for another Toronto Blue Jays-Texas Rangers playoff series?

Designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion blasted a three-run, walk-off home run in the 11th inning Tuesday night to give the Blue Jays a 5-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles in the American League Wild Card Game.

And blasted might be an understatement.

The ending was controversial, as the Orioles never turned to closer and Cy Young candidate Zach Britton. Instead, manager Buck Showalter, who said after the game that Britton was available, put in Ubaldo Jimenez with one out in the 11th, and he allowed two straight singles before Encarnacion’s homer.

The Blue Jays-Rangers AL Division Series will begin Thursday with Game 1 at 4:38 p.m. ET.
