Why Martellus Bennett Is More Like Randy Moss Than You’d Think

Martellus Bennett hasn’t shied away from discussing his discontent with the Chicago Bears, who traded him to the New England Patriots in the offseason.

But Bennett is one of the best tight ends in the league, and Chicago has been one of the worst teams in the league for several years — probably in part because they couldn’t figure out how to properly use him (or his teammates).

NESN.com’s Michaela Vernava was on hand at Gillette Stadium, and she caught up with NESN analyst and former Patriot Matt Chatham, who explained why Bennett is like another misfit player who found his way back to stardom once he was traded to New England.
