Will Ferrell Brings Back Harry Caray Act For Cubs-Indians World Series

The best part about the Chicago Cubs being in the World Series? Harry Caray is back.

Not literally. The legendary sportscaster died in 1998. But actor Will Ferrell brought back his famous impersonation of the former voice of the Cubs on Monday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Ferrell’s impression of Caray, which he debuted during his stint on “Saturday Night Live,” is absolutely hilarious. This time around, he joked about the Cubs’ World Series drought, dating in the afterlife and his relationship with Vin Scully — all while referring to Jimmy as “Johnny.”

So as the Cubs prepare to face the Cleveland Indians in this year’s Fall Classic, don’t get too caught up in the series’ historical significance — the Cubbies haven’t won a World Series since 1908 and the Tribe haven’t won a title since 1948 — or the intriguing on-field matchup. Instead, sit back, relax and enjoy Ferrell’s finest work. It never gets old.
