The injury bug bit the Boston Bruins in a non-game setting Saturday.
Bruins forward Brad Marchand left the team’s practice at Warrior Ice Arena after defenseman Adam McQuaid’s shot hit him in the knee. Marchand didn’t return to practice, but fortunately, he appears to be OK, as he told NESN’s Sarah Davis he’ll play Sunday afternoon against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Bruins could use Marchand, as they’re already without top defenseman Zdeno Chara, who’s day-to-day with a lower body injury. See how Marchand got hurt and the projected lines for Bruins-Lightning in the “Bruins Face-Off Live” video above.
