The city of Chicago has been in party mode since the early hours of Thursday morning, and their celebration of the Cubs’ World Series triumph will continue into Friday with the championship parade.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m. CT and run from Michigan Avenue to Grant Park, where a rally will be held.

The last parade for a World Series champion in Chicago was for the White Sox in 2005. The most recent champions for Chicago were the Blackhawks, whose parades in 2010, 2013 and 2015 drew millions of fans.

Friday’s parade could set records for attendance given the historical significance of the Cubs’ win. This is a championship generations of fans have been waiting to see, and you can bet Cubs fans from all over the nation will flock to Chicago to be there.

People who can’t attend can watch the parade on MLB Network or use a live stream on MLB.com.
