There’s really no limit to what can be thrown on top of a pizza. And for Ottawa Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson, the list of viable pizza toppings includes an engagement ring.
That’s right. Apparently there’s no situation in life that can’t be fixed — or knot that can’t be tied — by the holiest of pies.
Karlsson’s longtime girlfriend, Melinda Currey, posted a photo on her Instagram account Friday afternoon of a pepperoni pizza topped off by an engagement ring. Take a look.

Karlsson also took to Instagram to break the news, but omitted the pizza. Shame.
It’s unfair to completely eliminate the chances of Karlsson possessing some romantic creativity, so we’re going to assume this was all part of a cheesy inside joke.
