The playoff race is heating up in the NFL and in fantasy football leagues across the country.

But, as the regular season draws to a close, it’s time to make some tough decisions and drop underperforming players. So, to help you with that dilemna, here are five players you should consider dropping this week to make room for these guys.

Case Keenum, QB, Los Angeles Rams
It’s finally happening. The Los Angeles Rams have decided to bench Keenum and finally start rookie No. 1 pick Jared Goff at quarterback. Obviously, that means you should bench Keenum in fantasy, but if he’s been your starter, then your season probably will be over soon anyway.

Christine Michael, RB, Seattle Seahawks
The fall of Michael has been a steep one. He had some productive weeks for the Seahawks, but he’s since been overtaken by C.J. Prosise on the depth chart and released by Seattle. Starting someone who no longer is on a team would not be a good strategy.

Ty Montgomery, RB/WR, Green Bay Packers
Montgomery has had some success both on the ground and through the air, but his spot on the depth chart has taken a massive hit with the likely return of James Starks this week. His role going forward is unclear, which is never a good thing from a fantasy perspective.

Allen Hurns, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Hurns is coming off a two-catch, 13-yard performance, and he’s recovering from a concussion, although he has been cleared to play in Week 11. But even if he does play near full capacity, he’s still part of a crowded wide receiver corps. that’s led by Allen Robinson.

Jack Doyle, TE, Indianapolis Colts
Doyle still got the majority of the reps at tight end in Dwayne Allen’s first game back in Week 9, but the Colts since have had a bye week for Allen to rest up and prepare to take a more active role in Indy’s offense. Sorry, Doyle owners.
