Kevan Miller’s Heads-Up Play Robs Lightning Of Early Goal Vs. Bruins

Brayden Point thought he had a lightning strike at TD Garden on Sunday, but Kevan Miller stole his thunder.

Point had a golden opportunity to put the Tampa Bay Lightning ahead of the Boston Bruins early in the first period when he caught goaltender Tuukka Rask out of position on a wraparound attempt. That’s when Miller saved the day, reaching out with his stick to deflect Point’s shot away at the last second and prevent the goal.
