Watch Kris Bryant’s Great Reaction To Making Cubs’ Final World Series Out

Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant had to battle Mother Nature to make the final out of a historic 2016 World Series.

Steady rain made the Progressive Field wet, and even though Bryant slipped a bit, it wasn’t enough to effect the accuracy of his throw on a soft grounder by Cleveland Indians right fielder Michael Martinez.

This out gave Chicago an 8-7, 10-inning win over the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field, ending a 108-year championship drought.

What made the historic moment even better was Bryant’s beaming smile as he fired to first base for the out.

After catching Bryant’s throw, Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo quickly put the baseball in his pocket before joining the celebration. That ball likely is headed to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
