The New England Patriots’ offense is coming off a bye week and is pretty close to fully healthy. The Seattle Seahawks’ defense played an exhausting game against the Buffalo Bills last Monday night.
But the Patriots know full well what Seattle’s D is capable of, and they certainly aren’t taking the vaunted unit lightly. The Seahawks are allowing just 16.8 points per game this season, third-fewest in the NFL, thanks in part to an athletic, physical secondary that could get an additional boost in the return of safety Kam Chancellor, who returned to practice Wednesday.
Patriots tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett know they have a tough task ahead of them in Sunday night’s Week 10 matchup. NESN.com’s Michaela Vernava has the latest report from Foxboro, Mass., including insight from Gronk and Bennett, in the above video from “NESN Live,” presented by Cross Insurance.
