The college football season is coming down to the wire, which means Saturday could go a long way in determining bowl eligibity for many teams throughout the country.
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons have been a pleasant surprise this season, and they’re only one win away from becoming bowl eligible. One of their best chances for win No. 6 comes Saturday, when they host 2-6 Virginia at 3 p.m. ET in an Atlantic Coast Conference clash on NESN.
NESNplus also will televise three college football contests Saturday, starting with a Football Championship Subdivision matchup between Ivy League rivals Penn and Princeton at noon. Southern Miss, like Wake Forest, is one win away from bowl elgibility, which they can secure with a victory over Charlotte at 3:30 p.m. Oh, and Old Dominion is in the same boat heading into its 7 p.m. contest against Marshall.
