Everyone expected the San Francisco 49ers to be bad, but no one expected the Arizona cardinals to be this average.
Despite being early season favorites to reach the Super Bowl out of the NFC, the Cardinals currently are 3-4-1 and are now two games back of the Seattle Seahawks for first place in the NFC West division. But they’ll have a chance to turn things around Sunday afternoon when they host the 1-7 San Francisco 49ers, whose league-worst rushing defense must deal with David Johnson, one of the NFL’s premier running backs.
