FC Barcelona has conquered Europe four times since 2006 but hasn’t won a league game at Real Sociedad throughout its most glorious era.
Barcelona will look to end its Real Socieadad hex Sunday at Anoeta Stadium when they face off in La Liga (Spanish first division) action. Real Sociedad has won each of its last four home La Liga games against Barcelona and hasn’t lost since 2007.
Third-place Barcelona (26 points) needs a victory in order to keep pace with league-leading Real Madrid (33 points) ahead of 2016-17’s first edition of “El Clasico,” which will take place next Saturday.
