The Boston Celtics will face their toughest test of the young season Friday night at TD Garden.
The 6-5 Celtics will take on Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and the 9-2 Warriors in Durant’s first game in Boston since he signed with Golden State instead of the C’s this summer.
The Warriors have been on a tear lately, scoring 120 points or more in three consecutive games, and Boston likely will be without Al Horford (concussion) and Jae Crowder (ankle) Friday. But the C’s always have played Golden State close: Each of the teams’ last four meetings have been decided by five points or fewer.
