The Atlantic Coast Conference will have no spy games.

The conference fined both Louisville and Virginia Tech $25,000 on Saturday for their roles in the #WakeyLeaks scandal. The conference reviewed the findings of Wake Forest’s internal investigation of leaked game plans and elected to fine each school the maximum amount allowed per the league’s bylaws.

On Friday, Louisville suspended co-offensive coordinator Lonnie Galloway, who was implicated in the scandal involving former Wake Forest radio announcer Tommy Elrod giving out game plans to opposing teams.

“I am deeply disturbed that something like this would occur,” ACC commissioner John Swofford said in a statement, via TheACC.com.  “Regardless of the degree of involvement, the protection of the competitive integrity of our games is fundamental to any athletic contest.”

The funds from the fines will be placed into the Weaver-James-Corrigan Postgraduate Scholarship account. The scholarships are awarded to student-athletes who intend to pursue a graduate degree following completion of their undergraduate course work.
