The Boston Bruins are in Washington on Wednesday night to take on the Capitals in a building they haven’t won at since the 2013-14 season.
The Bruins have dropped three straight at Verizon Center, but they enter this game winners of three straight and sporting an Eastern Conference-best 8-5-1 road record.
David Pastrnak has been red-hot of late, and he scored twice in Boston’s 4-3 overtime win against the Florida Panthers on Monday night. His 15 goals are the third-most in the NHL.
Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin, who regularly scores 40-plus goals per season, has found the back of the net 12 times this campaign. However, Ovi is on a five-game goalless drought, and the Caps have lost three of those games.
Here are the projected lineups for both teams.
