The news isn’t that surprising, as Kaepernick is scheduled to become a free agent following this season. Despite the 49ers currently sitting at a lowly 1-10 this season, Kaepernick is sure to have some suitors in free agency, as he has thrown for 1,440 yards and 10 touchdowns with just three interceptions in seven games and six starts so far this season.
