Patriots Practice Report: Danny Amendola Lone Absence On Frigid Saturday

FOXBORO, Mass. — Danny Amendola was the only player absent as the New England Patriots took the field for a rare Saturday practice.

Amendola suffered a high ankle sprain during Sunday’s win over the Los Angeles Rams and is expected to miss the rest of the regular season, so his absence did not come as a surprise.

Saturday’s practice was one of the coldest of the season, with temperatures in Foxboro dipping below 30 degrees. Similar conditions are expected for Monday night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens at Gillette Stadium.
