The New Orleans’ Saints meeting with the Arizona Cardinals would have been one of the biggest games of the NFL season had the teams met preseason expectations.
That didn’t happen in 2016.
Arizona will host New Orleans on Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium in a NFL Week 15 contest between teams whose hopes of reaching the playoffs hang on their ability to win their remaining games. Arizona (5-7-1) is favored over New Orleans (5-8), but a win for either team likely wouldn’t dull their fans’ sense of disappointment over their season.
