The Red Sox have made some notable moves in recent years, but their trade with the Chicago White Sox for left-handed ace Chris Sale sent shock waves throughout Major League Baseball at the 2016 winter meetings. Boston, which already had a talented team, now figures to be among the World Series favorites going into the 2017 season.
