Celtics Name Their Favorite Players Growing Up, With Some Surprising Results

The Boston Celtics have their reasons for liking whomever they like.

We learned that much and more Thursday when the Celtics named the players they liked the most when they were growing up.

Their affinities largely depend on when they were born and where they’re from. Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant unsurprisingly appear on the list because of their greatness. We also could have predicted Isaiah Thomas would support left-handed point guards. Kelly Olynyk’s affinity for the Toronto Raptors and Steve Nash also is no shock.
