The New England Patriots reportedly added depth at tight end Wednesday by adding Dwayne Allen in a trade with the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for a fourth-round pick. The Patriots also received a sixth-round pick in the deal. Allen has spent the first five years of his career with the Colts, and he had 406 yards on 35 catches with six touchdowns last season.

With this trade, it appears Martellus Bennett’s time in New England has come to an end after spending one year with the team.
