Liverpool Held To 2-2 Draw In Premier League Bout With Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth took the lead over Liverpool in Wednesday’s Premier League game with just seven minutes elapsed, as Benik Afobe profited from Georginio Wijnaldum’s wayward backpass and slid the ball past Reds goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.

But Philippe Coutinho drew the Reds level just prior to the break when he swept home from Roberto Firmino’s through ball before Divock Origi headed them in front in the 59th minute.

However, there was late disappointment for Jürgen Klopp’s side as Bournemouth’s Josh King scrambled home an equalizer in the final moments to force a share of the spoils.
