British Open 2017 Payouts: Prize Money For Winner Jordan Spieth, Rest Of Field

Jordan Spieth is used to making history on the golf course, and the 23-year-old did just that with his impressive win at Royal Birkdale.

Spieth outlasted Matt Kuchar to win the 2017 British Open with a final score of 12-under-par. With the win, Spieth became the youngest American golfer to win the British Open, and also the youngest to win three majors, just three days ahead of his 24th birthday.

For his win, Spieth will receive a little north of $1.8 million. The total purse for the tournament is $10.25 million.
