2017 ESPY Award Winners: Peyton Manning, Warriors Among Highlights

10:57 p.m.: Last year, the Golden State Warriors blew a 3-1 series lead in the NBA Finals. This year, they’re on top of the league, and ESPYs, mountaintop.

10:49 p.m.: Averaging a triple double for the entire 2016-17 NBA regular season earned Russell Westbrook the league’s MVP award, and now, the “Best Male Athlete” in the past year.

10:44 p.m.: Simone Biles took Rio de Janeiro by storm with her powerful performances on the mat to the tune of four Olympic gold medals.

10:21 p.m.: There would be no Special Olympics without Eunice Kennedy Shriver. Her body of work is incredible and was recognized as this year’s Arthur Ashe Courage Award winner.

10:13 p.m.: The “Best Play” from one of the best NFL games last season.

10:03 p.m.: Sixty-six years on the call. There will never be another Vin Scully.

9:43 p.m.: What’s a good way to make sure you win your first NBA championship? Average 35.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 5.4 assists in the Finals.

7:56 p.m.: Peyton Manning is used to dominating on the football field, but tonight, he’ll be taking on a whole new arena.

7:54 p.m.: The Chef is in the house!

7:22 p.m.: Aaron Rodgers wasn’t the NFL MVP this past season, but the Green Bay Packers quarterback did enough to take home some hardware at the ESPYs.

7:15 p.m.: With the Major League Baseball All-Star festivities having come and gone, there’s not a whole lot going on in the sports world at the moment. But don’t worry fans, the 2017 ESPY Awards are live from Los Angeles on Wednesday night to lift your spirits.

Host Peyton Manning, athletes and celebrities will gather at Microsoft Theater for the annual awards show, which honors the best athletes and moments in sports from the past year. The event is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. ET, and you can watch it all online here.
