Doug Fister couldn’t keep the Boston Red Sox’s winning streak alive Wednesday night.

The right-hander lasted just 3 2/3 innings, allowing six runs (four earned) on five hits while striking out three and walking three in an 8-2 loss to the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park.

Fister was displeased with his outing as it taxed the Red Sox’s bullpen.
