Tom Brady’s Touchdown Celebrations Frighten His Patriots Teammates

Hopefully a too-eager Tom Brady didn’t cause wide receiver Julian Edelman’s concussion.

New England Patriots players explained to The Wall Street Journal that they always have to be prepared for the quarterback’s patented touchdown celebration.

“All of a sudden he’s a foot away from you, head-butting you three times,” wideout Brandon LaFell told Kevin Clark. “I’m like, hey, man, calm down.”

Even Patriots defenders have to be prepared.

“I didn’t know he’d come that hard. My helmet was loose,” safety Devin McCourty told The Wall Street Journal. “So I felt it.”

Brady is calm and collected in front of the media and in the locker room, but he turns into a different person on the game field.

“The way he carried himself, I thought he was always so laid-back” LaFell said. “All of a sudden he’s screaming, he’s yelling, you have no idea what he’s saying. It’s an experience that catches you off-guard.”
