The Boston Red Sox will be looking to halt a two-game losing streak and split their four-game series against Baltimore when they take on the Orioles on Monday morning as slim -133 moneyline favorites at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The Orioles’ bats came to life on Sunday afternoon, tallying 15 hits, including Adam Jones’ three-run double and two-run home run, in an 8-3 thumping of the Red Sox. The win was Baltimore’s second straight, following Boston’s 3-2 victory in the series opener on Friday night.

Sunday’s loss moved the Orioles into a tie with Boston atop the AL East division standings, with both clubs starting the week with identical 7-5 records.

Justin Masterson is expected to be on the bump for Boston in Monday’s Orioles vs. Red Sox betting matchup at Fenway Park, with the first pitch scheduled to be thrown at 11:00 a.m. ET.

Masterson will be making his third start of the season, and his first against an American League opponent after posting wins over the Washington Nationals and the Philadelphia Phillies in his first two outings.

The Orioles will be sending Wei-Yin Chen to the mound on Monday morning. The Taiwanese southpaw picked up a win over the Tampa Bay Rays in his first start of the season, but surrendered a pair of home runs and was tagged with the loss when Baltimore fell 6-5 to the New York Yankees last Monday.

Baltimore has had Boston’s number of late, claiming victory in eight of their last 11 meetings. As well, the under is 9-5-1 in their last 15 matchups on the baseball betting lines at the sportsbooks.

Despite losing sole possession of top spot in the AL East, Boston’s odds to win the World Series have held steady at 10-1 at the sportsbooks, while Baltimore’s solid start has boosted their odds to 20-1 from 33-1 on Opening Day.

The Nationals remain atop the World Series betting odds at 15-2, but are now closely trailed by the Detroit Tigers, whose league-leading 10-2 start has propelled them to 8-1. Detroit is joined by the Los Angeles Dodgers at 8-1 followed by the St. Louis Cardinals, who sit alongside the Red Sox at 10-1.

The Kansas City Royals follow at 14-1, with four teams next at 16-1, including the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Angels, San Diego Padres, and Seattle Mariners. The struggling Toronto Blue Jays are at 18-1, while the surprising New York Mets have climbed to 20-1 after opening their campaign with 10 wins in their first 13 outings.
