School’s officially out, and the Boston Red Sox have plenty of family fun planned for July.

The Red Sox are continuing their “Calling All Kids” initiative with Hood Milk through the month, and it kicks off with an Independence Day celebration. A fireworks show complete with patriotic music will take place 15 minutes after Boston’s 7:10 p.m. game against the Houston Astros on Friday, July 3.

The summer fun continues Sunday, July 5, with Red Sox Kid Nation Day. Members who visit the Red Sox Kid Nation Booth will receive a $5 Aramark voucher and a 20 percent discount to the team store. They also can enter to win two tickets for a suite experience at Fenway Park. Best of all, Kid Nation membership is free, and any child 14 years old and under can join.

Members also can purchase a Red Sox Kid Nation pregame reception package, which includes an outfield grandstand ticket, a Wally the Green Monster sock puppet and plenty of kids’ foods, like hot dogs, chicken tenders, French fries and ice cream, for $79.

On Sunday, July 12, kids can run the bases after Boston’s game against the New York Yankees, which starts at 1:35 p.m.

Tuesday, July 28, will be fun for parents and kids alike, as the Red Sox will celebrate former ace Pedro Martinez’s induction into Cooperstown. All fans in attendance will receive a replica Martinez Hall of Fame plaque, and the pitcher’s No. 45 will be retired in a pregame ceremony before Boston’s 7:10 p.m. game against the Chicago White Sox.
