A different New England Patriot will teach a select group of women the finer points of football this fall.
From 2013 to 2015, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski hosted the “Rob Gronkowski Football 101 Women’s Clinic,” which featured a mix of football instruction, autographs and cocktails. This year, wide receiver Julian Edelman is taking over hosting duties of the event, which is scheduled for Oct. 3 at Gillette Stadium.
Women can purchase tickets for the clinic in one of three tiers: The Kickoff Package for $159 to $199, The First Down Package for $399 to $499 and The Touchdown Package for $2,395 to $2,995. The most expensive package incorporates the camp’s originator, as it includes a ride to the event with Gronk.
All packages include a ticket to the clinic, a T-shirt, a team photo, an Edelman autograph and a complimentary beer, wine or “Mint Julian.”
