The Red Sox lineup will be the same — top to bottom — as it was on Saturday, with Ryan Sweeney leading off and Mike Aviles once again batting ninth.

Daniel Nava will also get the start for a fourth straight game. Since being called up to Boston on Thursday, Nava is 4-for-8 with four walks in 12 plate appearances. He went 2-for-3 with a run scored on Saturday.

For the Indians, Johnny Damon will be back in the lineup after getting the night off on Saturday. He was 2-for-11 through the first two games of the series, and his season average currently sits at .171 (7-for-41).

Daniel Bard takes the ball for the Red Sox, while Justin Masterson gets the nod for Cleveland.

Masterson always seems to pitch well against the Red Sox. The righty is 3-0 with a 1.95 ERA in four career starts against his former club.

David Ortiz, was supposed to be batting fifth on Tuesday, has had much success against Shields in his career, sporting a .333 batting average with three homers, eight doubles and 13 RBIs in 29 at-bats. Big Papi, however, was a late scratch due to illness.

Lester is 4-1 with a 1.22 ERA in five career starts against Kansas City, which includes his 2008 no-hitter. He has yet to face the Royals this season, though.

Going up against Lester and the Sox will be right-hander Kyle Davies, who is in the midst of a dismal season. He enters Monday's matchup at 1-9 with a 7.32 ERA. He is 2-0 with a 4.50 ERA in three career starts against the Red Sox.

The Sox will send out a common lineup against Davies and Co. on Monday night. It will mark the fifth straight game that the lineup hasn't changed outside of the catcher's spot at No. 8.

Josh Reddick, who has likely become the team's everyday right fielder because of his performance this season and J.D. Drew's most recent injury, will bat seventh.

Jarrod Saltalamacchia, who is swinging a hot bat to start the second half of the season, will be Lester's catcher in the lefty's return, while Marco Scutaro rounds out the order in the nine hole.

With David Ortiz out the past two nights to serve his three-game suspension, manager Terry Francona has taken advantage of that vacancy to get both players in the lineup. But Reddick continued to be the only one producing, as the 24-year-old has gone 4-for-8 in the two games with a homer and three runs scored. Drew, on the other hand, collected just one hit in his six at-bats.

Therefore, it's Reddick getting the nod in right field on Wednesday, with the slumping Adrian Gonzalez shifting over to designated hitter. Kevin Youkilis will move across the diamond to man first base for the afternoon, while Yamaico Navarro gets the start at third.

Andrew Miller will take the hill for the Sox, opposite Baltimore's Jake Arrieta, where he will look to rebound from his first loss of the season.

The Sox have dominated the Orioles in the first two games of their four-game set, outscoring them 20-7. It will be particularly interesting to see whether there is any lingering bad blood a day after the two teams engaged in a bench-clearing brawl.

Lackey has had a rough season so far, but facing the O's could be an opportunity for him to get back on track. The right-hander is 10-4 with a 3.05 ERA in 17 career starts against the Orioles.

He'll be opposed by Alfredo Simon, who will be making his first start this season and only the fourth of his big league career. The 30-year-old has primarily been used as a reliever during his time in the majors.

The Sox lineup will look a bit different than it did on Friday night. The first five hitters remain in place, but the bottom of the order will have a new look.

Josh Reddick will return to the starting lineup as the team's left fielder. He started on the bench Friday night, but later entered the game and hit an RBI triple in the eighth inning.

Jarrod Saltalamacchia will be back behind the plate on Saturday, one day after being ejected despite not starting the game, and J.D. Drew will return to right field.

Marco Scutaro, who batted seventh on Friday, will bat ninth against Simon and the O's on Saturday.

Reddick will hit seventh and play left field once again on Friday night, as the Sox and Astros open up a three-game series in Houston. The 24-year-old outfielder will be one of the few Red Sox who will be sad to see interleague play wrapped up this weekend. In his last eight games, all against NL foes, Reddick is hitting a cool .500 (10-for-20) with a home run and five RBIs.

The Sox will have to find a way to figure out Houston starter Bud Norris. The only member of the Red Sox lineup to have ever seen the right-hander is Adrian Gonzalez, who is 0-for-3 in his career against Norris. Potentially making things even more difficult for the Red Sox is the fact that Norris is 3-3 with an impressive 2.35 ERA at home this season.

J.D. Drew will man the fifth spot behind cleanup hitter Kevin Youkilis.

Carlos Lee is the only member of the Houston starting lineup to have faced Boston starter Tim Wakefield before. Lee has done so with some success, too, as he is a .375 (9-for-24) lifetime hitter against the knuckleballer with two home runs and six RBIs.

A night after the Red Sox used a 10-run seventh inning to blast the Padres 14-5, Francona is making a couple of changes with right-hander Mat Latos on the mound for San Diego.

Jarrod Satlalamacchia will be behind the plate catching Alfredo Aceves, who is making a spot start in the wake of Josh Beckett's illness. Saltalamacchia will look to continue a hot month of June, which he enters Tuesday night hitting .333, a number that has helped raise his average 29 points since the beginning of the month.

J.D. Drew also returns to the Red Sox lineup a night after beginning the game out of the order in favor of Darnell McDonald, who was in the lineup with a left-hander on the mound on Monday night. Drew did pinch hit on Monday night and walked, singled and scored a pair of runs.

Carl Crawford, who is on the 15-day disabled list, is the only member of the Red Sox to have ever faced Latos, who will make his first career start against Boston.

Wheaton College graduate Chris Denorfia will lead off and play right field for the Padres.

Scutaro will bat seventh in the series opener against Milwaukee at Fenway Park on Friday night, as Lowrie is headed to the disabled list with a nagging shoulder injury, according to NESN.com's Tony Lee.

Milwaukee starter Shaun Marcum, a former Blue Jay, is no stranger to the Red Sox from his time in the American League East. The right-hander has made 11 career starts against the Sox, posting a 5-5 record with a 4.38 ERA. He struggled last season against Boston, going 1-3 with a 5.34 ERA in five starts.

Jason Varitek, who will catch Red Sox starter John Lackey and hit ninth, has had some success in the past against Marcum. The switch-hitting catcher has hit Marcum at a .400 clip (4-for-10) in his career.

J.D. Drew returns to the Red Sox lineup in the No. 8 position, and while he's only a .227 (5-for-22) lifetime hitter against Marcum, he does have three home runs off of him.

On Sunday, the Sox scored 14 runs on 17 hits, which is a major reason manager Terry Francona has elected to come back with the same lineup for the Sox' series opener against the Rays on Tuesday.

Marco Scutaro will get his second consecutive start at shortstop and will bat ninth. In his career, he is hitting .255 off James Shields, who is slated to start for the Rays.

Shields is 5-4 with a 2.85 ERA this season, but is 5-9 with a 5.17 ERA in his career against the Red Sox.

This series marks the first time that left fielder Carl Crawford will return to Tropicana Field, a place he called home for nine seasons. He's never faced Shields in his career.

Tim Wakefield takes the ball for the Sox. He enters Tuesday's game with a 21-6 career record against the Rays, to go along with a 3.78 ERA. The 21 wins are the most Wakefield, who is four wins shy of 200, has had against any one team in his career.

Scutaro is a .304 (7-for-23) hitter against New York Yankees starter A.J. Burnett. Jed Lowrie, who has been bothered by a shoulder ailment, is just 2-for-12 (.167) with four strikeouts.

Red Sox manager Terry Francona indicated Tuesday that Lowrie might be back in there at shortstop against Burnett, but has altered that plan, either because of the matchups or due to the shoulder.

Scutaro is one of a handful of Boston starters with success against Burnett. Jacoby Ellsbury, Dustin Pedroia and Carl Crawford each have averages over .300 against the right-hander. David Ortiz, who drew some ire from Yankees manager Joe Girardi for his dramatic bat flip following a home run in the series opener, is a .256 (10-for-39) hitter against Burnett, but three of his hits were home runs and five of them doubles.

One noteworthy development in the lineup is the insertion of Jason Varitek with knuckleballer Tim Wakefield on the mound. Jarrod Saltalamacchia had been handling the bulk of the catching duties with Wakefield pitching this year. Also, Varitek will probably be behind the plate Thursday catching Josh Beckett, giving the veteran catcher back-to-back games in oppressive heat.

Pedroia, mired in a month-long slump, was showing slight signs of a turnaround before his fall the other night. He is 5-for-16 (.313) with three walks and two stolen bases in his last four games overall.

Additionally, Pedroia is one of a handful in Wednesday's batting order to have had some success against Cleveland Indians starter Mitch Talbot. He is 3-for-7 (.429) with a pair of RBIs against the young right-hander.

As a whole, Boston's lineup is 9-for-26 (.346) with a home run, two doubles and four walks against Talbot.

Carl Crawford, who homered and scored twice in the series opener, was originally penciled into the seventh spot in the lineup but was bumped to sixth with the insertion of Sutton into the nine-hole. It marks the first time in his career that Crawford has started a game batting sixth.

Cameron settles in behind Crawford in the eighth spot. Cameron has been giving Drew days off against left-handers but is getting a rare start against a righty due to Drew's hamstring issue.

This is the first time all year that Cameron has batted eighth.

Francona might not be expecting very much production, if history is any guide.

The Red Sox lineup is a combined 5-for-33 (.152) against Indians right-hander and former Red Sox pitcher Justin Masterson. The first seven hitters are 2-for-22 (.091).

One factor working in Boston's favor is the presence of Adrian Gonzalez, the lone Red Sox starter yet to get his hacks in on Masterson. Gonzalez enters hitting .342 after a 10-for-15 showing in the weekend series against the Chicago Cubs.

The slugging first baseman has six of his nine home runs and nine of his 15 doubles on the road, where he has played six fewer games than at Fenway Park. He went deep in Cleveland back in April, one of the few bright spots in a three-game Cleveland sweep.

Also hot at the plate is catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia, batting ninth against Masterson. The young catcher is batting .389 (7-for-18) during a five-game hitting streak. Three of the seven hits have been home runs and one was an RBI double that proved to be the difference in a 1-0 win over Detroit last week.

Lowrie, who was battling an illness that has circulated through much of the clubhouse, was given Wednesday off when the team lost in Toronto. If offered up an opportunity for Jose Iglesias to get his first major league start at shortstop.

Lowrie has yet to face Yankees right-hander Bartolo Colon. He hopes to find more success than some of his teammates, many of whom have struggled against Colon.

The rest of the Boston batting order is a combined 16-for-100 (.160) against Colon. Leading the way in the futility has been David Ortiz, who is 4-for-39 (.103) with an alarming 15 strikeouts against Colon. Carl Crawford is just 6-for-31 (.194) vs. the righty.

Jacoby Ellsbury will be starting in center field and batting leadoff for the 18th straight time, looking to extend his hitting streak to 19 games.

Ellsbury is batting .367 (29-for-79) during the stretch, the third of his career that has lasted this long. His career high is 22 straight games with a hit.

Behind Ellsbury sits Dustin Pedroia, mired in a lengthy slump that has seen his average fall to .237.

Carl Crawford hits eighth once again. He has a nine-game hitting streak, during which he has two game-winning hits. It was Crawford's double in the 11th that gave the Red Sox a walk-off win Monday night at Fenway Park.

Jarrod Saltalamacchia gets the start behind the plate and hits ninth.

No Boston hitters have faced Toronto right-hander Kyle Drabek. Plenty of those in the Blue Jays lineup have seen Red Sox starter Jon Lester.

Among those to look out for is left fielder Corey Patterson, who is 5-for-12 (.417) with a home run off Lester. Second baseman Aaron Hill is just 2-for-26 (.077) vs. the lefty.
