Hader has played all sorts of characters during his stint on the show, with some of the best being Vincent Price on his Halloween specials, Herb Welch assaulting news interview subjects with a microphone, Keith Morrison scaring the world on Nightline and Stefon channeling the absurd with night life suggestions.

But Hader also had a few solid sports sketches, the most well-known being his appearance as an alien life form on Game Time With Randy & Greg, when viewers seemed more interested in pointing out that the co-anchor had a tail and a dinosaur-like neck than actual sports analysis.

That’s where Aly Raisman was promoting Dancing With the Stars when she was met by an official from the World Anti-Doping Agency, according to the show’s website. Raisman said she hadn’t been tested since the Olympics and didn’t know why it had to come on such a busy week.

“They haven’t [tested me] since the Olympics, and they choose the finale week of Dancing With the Stars to come,” Raisman said. “Out of all the days since the Olympics, they choose like, the craziest week.”

Raisman is confident she’ll pass. The results will come back in four-to-six weeks.

Hamilton “Ham” Porter and Michael “Squints” Palledorous (or as they’re known in real life, Patrick Renna and Chauncey Leopardi) are still cult heroes even two decades after they starred in “The Sandlot,” and the two spent some time posing for pictures with Will Middlebrooks, Dustin Pedroia and Jacoby Ellsbury before the Red Sox’ game in Minnesota.

That’s Squints in the backward hat, and The Great Hambino, well, he still looks exactly the same.

The Miami socialite became the face of the Bulls-Heat series last week when she greeted Joakim Noah with an obscene gesture after Noah was ejected from an emotion-packed game. As the photo of Tobias flipping off Noah circulated around the Internet, she got the usual attention and rude comments — and then the lid really came off.

A little digging revealed that Tobias’ late husband, Seth Tobias, had mysteriously died in his pool in 2007. The Internet, ever quick to rush to judgment, quickly started making its own connections.

Tobias ignored much of the attention, but she is now pushing back. Her lawyer, Anthony Barbuto, sent a statement to gossipextra.com saying that Tobias regrets the incident — but also that she would please like to be left alone.

“Ms. Tobias has been a devoted Miami Heat fan for as long as she can remember, and like many other devoted fans, she unfortunately allowed her passion for the team to disregard proper fan etiquette. She is only human, and her emotions got the best of her,” Barbuto wrote. “She offers her genuine apologies to anyone she has offended, and she requests that her privacy, as well as the privacy of her family, be respected at this time.

“Ms. Tobias is distressed at the needless national attention this incident has garnered and the unwarranted invasion of privacy by the press into her personal life, including the malicious and untrue reporting about her husband’s tragic passing. What started as a simple and ill-mannered gesture that was made towards a member of the opposing team who had just been ejected has now transformed into a very ugly and despicable intrusion into Ms. Tobias’ past.

“With that said, Ms. Tobias remains loyal to the Miami Heat.”

With that said, the Internet is never going to forget this one.

An Australian television personality fell victim to a classic teleprompter prank Wednesday. It was something straight out of the hit movie Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.

The real-life television host was reading a script off of the teleprompter as highlights of Chelsea’s victory over Benfica in the Europa League final were broadcast. Everything was going according to plan until she reached the end of her prepared remarks: “The Blues defeating Portuguese side Benfica in Amsterdam …”

It was there that a colleague added a little treat to the end of her script, and the host couldn’t help but read all the way to the end.

Collins actually mentions his brother in the Sports Illustrated article, saying Jarron had no clue that he was gay. On Wednesday night, the duo expounded on that story in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, with Jarron joking that he missed the “red flags” about his brother.

Another one of the segment’s funnier jokes was when Jarron revealed a T-shirt proclaiming “I’m the straight one” to identify himself from his eight-minute-older brother. Jarron was even seen later actually wearing the shirt out in public.

Aside from that, however, Jason does speak a bit about coming out, sharing a few stories from his recent experience. Check out the interview in the videos below.

The Bluth’s Banana Stand from cult classic television show Arrested Development has been on tour over the past few days, and its most recent stop found it just outside The House That Ruth Built. The publicity stunt is in promotion of the show’s triumphant return to television (technically Netflix) coming up on May 26.

Fans who yell “There’s always money in the banana stand,” in reference to a catchphrase from the show, are eligible to win tickets to an upcoming Yankee game. Of course, that’s if they make sure Mr. Bananagrabber doesn’t get them first…

The British royal was in New York on Tuesday as part of his trip around the United States, and he capped off a day that included a stop on the Jersey shore and a ride on a double-decker bus through Manhattan with a little modern rounders action. Harry and Teixeira, who has been out of pinstripes for the Yankees this season after landing himself on the disabled list with a wrist injury from hitting off a tee, got their hacks in at the Harlem RBI field.

It’s not the first sporting event Harry has attended on his visit — he checked out some American football and cheerleading the other day.

Harry didn’t seem to have trouble adjusting to America’s game of bats and balls.

“Great swing,” Teixeira said, according to USA Today. “Three for three. For a guy who’s never played baseball before, to hit three line drives in a row, that’s pretty impressive.”

Also impressive — and something Teixeira didn’t include in that quote — was that Harry’s third poke was a home run (or, as The Telegraph notes, “The Prince, 28, managed to hit a home run with only the third delivery pitched at him”).

Now, if only Harry could teach Teixeira how to hit off a tee.

On Tuesday, ESPN unveiled a digital rendering of its “Digital Center 2,” which reportedly will end up costing the sports media giant $125 million to construct. Included in the 193,000-square-foot space are four brand-new studios and six production control rooms.

The brand-new building will open in 2014 and will be the Bristol, Conn., home of SportsCenter, among other programs. ESPN released a video of what one of the new studios will look like. See it below.

Epic Pictures Group says it is financing and developing a Rocky-style film after buying the rights to dramatize a biography about the Barcelona soccer star.

The Beverly Hills-based company says the biopic will chart Messi’s rise from a modest background in Argentina and how he ”overcame his physical shortcomings to become one of the greatest players of all time.”

Co-founder Shaked Berenson hopes ”audiences will be uplifted by this incredible tale of fighting for your dreams.”

Late last month, the former West Virginia quarterback fired his agent, Select Sports, after falling to the second round of the NFL draft. Now property of the Jets, Smith is finding that there are perks to being a quarterback in New York City — like being courted by Jay-Z, for one.

Early in April, it came out that the rapper-mogul was selling his share in the Brooklyn Nets to avoid a conflict of interest, paving the way to start a sports representation agency, Roc Nation Sports. The fledgling agency even managed to sign Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano — who will be a free agent this winter — as its first client.

Now, according to a report from ProFootballTalk, Roc Nation was among several agencies making their pitch to become Smith’s agent. Smith just completed two days of meetings, where Joel Segal, Rick Smith of Priority Sports, Eugene Parker, Fletcher Smith and Roc Nation all made their case.

However, it’s worthy of noting that Jay-Z, himself, cannot participate in negotiations. He is not certified as a professional football agent, and thus he is not allowed to so much as persuade any individual so sign with his agency.

The Miami fan drew attention this week after she celebrated Wednesday night’s ejection of Chicago’s Joakim Noah by raising her middle finger in his face as he left the court. Tobias soon acquired quite a bit of fame on the Internet, and the story only got juicier when it was discovered that Tobias has a pretty ridiculous background.

Well, if you’ve been waiting for more on Tobias, we’ve got you covered. Video from the TNT broadcast of the play that got Noah ejected shows that Tobias continued her moment of awesome after Noah disappeared into the tunnel. With other Miami fans cheering on Tobias’ finger skills, she turned around and high-fived a bro in the stands.

Tiger Woods

According to US Magazine, the golfer and skier hit up an after party at the Boom Boom Room (atop the Standard Hotel) following the the annual Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.

It was there, according to “onlookers,” where Tiger reportedly tied one on.

“Tiger looked uncomfortable,” US Magazine’s onlooker said, adding that the two held hands and kissed for much the night. At one point, the source indicates, the pair hit the dance floor where Tiger was “grabbing Vonn’s butt affectionately as she giggled.”

But the fun didn’t end there, if reports are true.

“When it was time to go, around 2 a.m.,” writes Justin Ravits of US Magazine  “a seemingly tipsy Woods fell while walking up a small flight of stairs — and didn’t move from the spot until Vonn, clenching her teeth and looking embarrassed, helped him up and guided him [swaying a bit as he walked] to the exit, according to a witness.”

Miller, now an analyst for TNT, was back to torment New York one more time Tuesday — on the 18th anniversary of the night he scored eight points in 8.9 seconds to beat the Knicks in the playoffs, no less. With Miller wearing a headset instead of outplaying John Starks and Patrick Ewing, the Knicks prevailed 105-79, but that didn’t keep Miller and a still-bitter Knicks crowd from enjoying the anniversary.

Miller tweeted earlier in the day in anticipation of the game.

Knicks fans, however, had the best moment of the night. With the fourth quarter winding down and the win in hand (what — you thought New York fans would pull out their taunting too early?), they serenaded their old foe with some “Reggie sucks” chants.

Aiken and Rodgers, an unlikely duo, have reason to share the small screen this week as they both appear in a cameo on The Office. While the NBC comedy is wrapping up next week after just a couple more episodes, the series still needs to resolve the plot line of Andy, who was last seen trying to fulfill his dreams of becoming famous.

In a clip from this week’s episode of The Office, Andy heads to a talent audition only to find that Aiken and Rodgers are among his judges. Andy gets off on the wrong foot and soon gets a reception that is colder than a mid-January Lambeau Field (aw, c’mon — you had to know the Packers pun was coming).

See what Rodgers looks like on TV when he’s not slinging the pigskin in the clip below. The episode is due to air Thursday at 9 p.m.

Mike Woodson says New York knows basketball, and New York knows fashion. So now he’s in this random Sean John bit.

Keeping with their tried and tested formula, NBC has announced that country singer Carrie Underwood will replace Faith Hill in the opening theme for Sunday night football games. Hill performed the song “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” for the past six seasons, and Underwood will perform a new version of the song.

The former American Idol winner was the only artist in the running for the job when Hill announced she wouldn’t be returning for a seventh season. That could have something to do with the fact that Underwood was under consideration for the role when NBC first started broadcasting NFL games on Sunday night in 2006.

Underwood does have a sports connection, too. She is married to Nashville Predators star Mike Fisher. Oh, and her most recent ex-boyfriend is Tony Romo. Underwood’s version of the song will debut on September 8, when the Giants take on — guess who — the Dallas Cowboys.

Saturday Night Live spoofed the ceremony that took place in a 40,000-square foot tent in fantastic fashion. The skit had Zach Galifianakis and Jason Sudeikis playing “Lee and Leslie Ocean,” a pair of jugglers with an apparent drug habit.

They introduced the guests at MJ’s wedding, which included “Charles Barkley,” Prieto’s parents (who hadn’t met Jordan yet) and “Dikembe Mutombo.” If you want to see the best Mutombo impression you’ll ever see on SNL (or really any medium for impressions at all), watch the video below.

Clemente was fired for his slightly more vulgar misstep, and now Collins has been dismissed from her network, too. According to the Chicago Tribune, Collins was no longer with CSN Chicago as of Thursday night.

But here’s the weird thing: It reportedly has nothing to do with Tuesday’s mishap, itself.

“Due to circumstances unrelated to her on-air remarks Tuesday night, Susannah Collins and Comcast SportsNet Chicago have parted ways,” said CSN Chicago vice president and general manager Phil Bedella in a statement. “We appreciate everything Susannah has contributed to our network over the past year and wish her the best in her future endeavors.”

The “circumstances unrelated” referred to in the statement appear to be videos on YouTube Collins did as a co-host of Sport Nutz, a 16-part series with a lowbrow take on sports news. Collins’ Tuesday gaffe purportedly brought new attention to those videos, which became the impetus for her dismissal.

Sports Nutz features sexually explicit material and some possibly racially offensive humor. However, as Deadspin points out, Collins hadn’t necessarily tried to hide her involvement with Sports Nutz, meaning either CSN Chicago didn’t do it’s due diligence when it hired Collins back in September, or the firing actually has more to do with the “sex” gaffe.
