Worry no more.

The NFL Players Association announced a deal Tuesday with an electronic signature company that will give players being drafted this week, along with their current NFL brethren, access to technology that makes signing a contract as easy as hitting a few buttons on their cellphone.

The well-timed deal between the NFLPA and DocuSign comes two days before the draft and with memories of the Denver Broncos-Elvis Dumervil fax fiasco still fresh on everyone’s mind.

Last month, the Broncos and their defensive end were unable to seal the deal on a restructured contract because Dumervil couldn’t get the signed paperwork back to the team in time via fax.

This arrangement will help prevent a repeat of that disaster, the NFLPA said.

“With the amount of travel our players do, DocuSign adds value by enabling them to sign anything, anywhere,” said George Atallah, spokesman for the NFLPA.

The Broncos-Dumervil deal was scuttled in part because the three parties — team, player and agent — were in three cities and on a tight deadline to complete the deal.

“If there’s anything I would take back it’s the fact that if there’s a deadline, there’s a deadline,” Broncos executive vice president John Elway said. “There’s a reason why there’s a deadline, because you can’t get everything done fast enough. It’s an unfortunate situation, but that won’t happen again.”

When asked why the parties were using a fax machine — relatively antiquated equipment given today’s technology, to say nothing of the amount of money on the line, Elway replied: “I’m not going to get into that.”

The NFLPA already uses DocuSign in a number of areas, including player marketing deals and agent verification forms.

After weeks of voting, we’ve narrowed the NFL’s Greatest Quarterback project down to just two. Tom Brady emerged from the AFC and Joe Montana was voted greatest in NFC history.

It seems fitting the two would square off against one another since Brady grew up in the Bay Area idolizing Montana. Brady has taken his Patriots to five Super Bowls and won three of them, while Montana took the 49ers to four Super Bowls and won all of them.

Montana was named to eight Pro Bowls and six All-Pro teams during his 16 years in the league, while Brady also has been named to eight Pro Bowls, but just three All-Pro teams. Both players won two league MVPs, Montana won three Super Bowl MVPs and Brady won two.

Montana completed 63.2 percent of his passes during his career for 40,551 yards, 273 touchdowns and 139 interceptions. He averaged 7.5 yards per attempt and ran for 1,676 yards on 457 attempts. Brady has trumped most of those numbers in 13 years with a 63.7-percent completion percentage, 44,806 yards, 334 touchdowns, 123 interceptions and 7.5 yards per attempt. Brady has rushed for 748 yards on 402 attempts.

Montana led the league in completion percentage five times during his career and passer rating twice. He has a 117-47 regular season record and a 16-7 playoff record. Brady has led the league in passing touchdowns three times and passer rating twice. He has a 136-39 regular season record and a 17-7 playoff record.

So who’s the greatest quarterback of all time? Vote below.

Now that Tom Brady has been voted greatest quarterback in AFC history, it’s time to determine the best of the NFC to set up the vote for the NFL’s greatest quarterback.

Roger Staubach made it out of the NFC East, beating out Sammy Baugh, Y.A. Tittle and Randall Cunningham with 62.53 percent of the vote. Staubach won out over Troy Aikman, Don Meredith and Danny White as the best of the Cowboys.

Bart Starr beat Fran Tarkenton, Bobby Layne and Sid Luckman with 72.48 percent. Starr had tough competition on the Packers as he beat Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers and Arnie Herber with 43.79 percent of the vote.

Drew Brees beat Jake Delhomme, Matt Ryan and Brad Johnson in the NFC South. That was after the New Orleans quarterback took down Aaron Brooks, Archie Manning and Bobby Hebert to be named the Saints’ greatest quarterback.

Finally, Joe Montana took down Matt Hasselbeck, Kurt Warner and Paul Christman in the NFC West. Montana beat Steve Young, Jeff Garcia and John Brodie for the 49ers.

Now you must vote between Staubach, Starr, Brees and Montana to face off against Brady. Who’s the best in NFC history?

Through fan votes, we’ve narrowed down the four best quarterbacks in the history of the AFC.

Tom Brady beat out Dan Marino, Jim Kelly and Joe Namath with 80.75 percent of the vote for AFC East teams. That was after Brady beat Drew Bledsoe, Steve Grogan and Babe Parilli as the greatest quarterback in Patriots history.

Terry Bradshaw topped Boomer Esiason, Otto Graham and Joe Flacco with 46.11 percent of the vote for AFC North teams. Bradshaw toppled Ben Roethlisberger, Kordell Stewart and Neil O’Donnell as the greatest in Pittsburgh history.

Johnny Unitas won out over Mark Brunell, Warren Moon and Matt Schaub with 51.35 percent of the vote among AFC South teams’ quarterbacks. He beat out Peyton Manning, Earl Morrall and Bert Jones for the Colts.

And John Elway finished first with 61.19 percent over Ken Stabler, Dan Fouts and Len Dawson in the AFC West. Craig Morton, Brian Griese and Tim Tebow were no match for Elway in the competition for greatest quarterback in Broncos history.

So now the race is on between Brady, Bradshaw, Unitas and Elway to to determine the greatest quarterback in AFC history (we understand Unitas only played in the AFC for two seasons, but we included the Colts as an AFC team just like we included the Seahawks as an NFC team). Vote below.

Other than the 49ers, the NFC West teams haven’t had a long history of legendary quarterbacks. They’ve piled up plenty of Pro Bowls, and the Rams even have two Hall of Famers, but names like Bob Waterfield and Norm Van Brocklin aren’t quite as well known as Joe Montana and Steve Young.

Montana beat out Young, John Brodie and Jeff Garcia for San Francisco in our polls. Montana finished with 71.38 percent of the vote to Young’s 22.12.

For the Cardinals, Paul Christman won with 78.85 percent. The quarterback who last competed in the 1940s was the only one among Jim Hart, Neil Lomax and Jake Plummer to lead the Cardinals to a championship.

Despite the fact that Waterfield and Van Brocklin are Pro Football Hall of Famers, Kurt Warner won for the Rams with 66 percent of the vote. Shockingly, Roman Gabriel finished second with 14 percent.

In Seattle, Matt Hasselbeck took the crown with 60.13 percent. Russell Wilson finished second, Dave Krieg third and Jim Zorn fourth. If Wilson can improve upon his impressive 2012 season, he could be topping this list the next time around.

Now’s the time to vote for the greatest quarterback in NFC West history. Will it be Montana, Christman, Warner or Hasselbeck. Check out their credentials and vote below.

Joe Montana: Montana is widely regarded as the best quarterback in NFL history. He led the 49ers to four Super Bowl victories in 1981, 1984, 1988 and 1989. The 49ers were 100-39 under Montana, as he led them to the playoffs nine times.

“Joe Cool” threw for 35,124 yards, 244 touchdowns and 123 interceptions with the 49ers. He’s an eight-time Pro Bowler, six-time All-Pro and two-time MVP. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000.

Paul Christman: Christman played for the Cardinals from 1945 to 1949. He led the team to an NFL Championship in 1947. The team won the NFL West in 1948 under Christman as well.

Christman was a two-time All-Pro with the Cardinals in 1946 and 1947. He threw for 7,294 career passing yards with 58 touchdowns and 76 interceptions. He ran for eight touchdowns as well.

Kurt Warner: The Rams had won NFL Championships in 1945 and 1950, but Warner led the team to their first Super Bowl victory. Warner came out of obscurity in 1999 to lead the Rams to a 13-3 record while throwing for 4,353 yards and 41 touchdowns.

Warner led St. Louis to another Super Bowl in 2001, but they lost to the New England Patriots. Warner was a three-time Pro Bowler with the Rams before getting released after the 2003 season. In 13 career playoff games, Warner ranks first all-time in completion percentage and yards per attempt.

Matt Hasselbeck: Hasselbeck is the Seahawks’ career leader in passing yards. He’s also the first Seattle quarterback to lead the team to the Super Bowl. The Seahawks lost to the Steelers in 2005.

Hasselbeck led the Seahawks for 10 years from 2001 to 2010. He threw for 174 touchdowns and 29,434 yards during that time and had a quarterback rating of 82.2. Hasselbeck was a three-time Pro Bowler and an All-Pro in 2005. He led Seattle to the playoffs in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010.

Fans will vote to decide the greatest quarterback in each team’s history, each division’s history, each conference’s history and, finally, the league’s history. We’ve listed the four best players at the position for each team below.

Because we’re trying to whittle the list down to one final quarterback, on some players we had to decide between two teams where they had success. For example, Kurt Warner may be considered one of the four greatest quarterbacks in Rams and Cardinals history, but we picked St. Louis because that’s where he had greater success.

Voting is live to determine the greatest quarterback in Colts, Jaguars, Oilers/Titans and Texans history. Voting will start for the AFC West on Feb. 4, NFC East on Feb. 11, NFC North on Feb. 18, NFC South Feb. 25 and NFC West on March 4. The NFL’s greatest quarterback will be announced on March 18. Vote now to see who will move on to the AFC South finals. You can vote for the best quarterback in AFC South history on Wednesday.

Y.A. Tittle was included with the New York Giants.

John Brodie: When Brodie finished his career, he was third in all-time passing yardage behind just Johnny Unitas and Fran Tarkenton. He was drafted by the 49ers with the No. 3 overall pick in 1957 out of Stanford. He spent his entire playing career in the Bay Area until 1973.

Brodie led the league in completion percentage three times, yards three times and touchdowns twice. His best seasons came in 1965 and 1970 when he named to the Pro Bowl and All-Pro team.

Brodie won the NFL MVP in 1970, when he threw for a league leading 2,941 yards and 24 touchdowns while completing 59 percent of his passes. He led the 49ers to a 10-3-1 record. Brodie led San Francisco to the playoffs in 1970, 1971 and 1972.

Steve Young: Young picked up right where Montana let off when he took over as the full-time starter in 1992. That season, the 49ers went 14-2 and Montana was traded to the Chiefs. San Francisco won Super Bowl XXIX under Young. He was a seven-time Pro Bowler, six-time All-Pro and two-time league MVP.

The BYU product may be the greatest running quarterback in NFL history. He totaled 4,239 yards and 43 touchdowns on the ground while averaging 5.9 yards per carry. He’s also one of the most precise passers in league history, leading the league in completion percentage five times. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005.

Jeff Garcia: Garcia was a 29-year-old rookie when he first took the reins as 49ers quarterback in 1998. He didn’t take over as the full-time starter until 1999 when he made his first of four Pro Bowls.

Garcia did nearly as much damage on the ground as he did through the air. He ran for 2,140 yards and 26 touchdowns during his career. Through the air, Garcia had 16,408 yards and 113 touchdowns to just 56 interceptions with San Francisco. The San Jose State product went 35-36 as a 49ers starter.

Warren Moon was included with the Houston Oilers.

Jim Zorn: Zorn is beloved by Seahawks fans as the first quarterback in franchise history. He’s third on their all-time passing list with 20,122 yards. Zorn led the Seahawks to a 40-60 record in nine seasons.

The Cal Poly Pomona product went undrafted in 1975 before hooking on with the Cowboys. He was known for his running prowess in the NFL, as he gained 1,504 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground in his career. Zorn was a 1978 All-Pro.

Dave Krieg: Krieg became the first Seahawks quarterback to lead the team to the playoffs in 1983 when he took over for Zorn midway through the season. He took them back in 1984, 1987 and 1988. Krieg threw for 26,132 yards during his Seahawks career — good for second all-time — with a 82.3 quarterback rating. His 195 touchdown passes are still a Seahawks record.

Krieg was a three-time Pro Bowler with Seattle. He gained 1,090 yards on the ground with the Seahawks with 10 touchdowns. His 65.6 percent completion rate led the NFL in 1991. He led the league in touchdown percentage (number of touchdowns per attempt) in 1983, 1987 and 1988. Krieg’s alma mater, Milton College, closed in 1982.

Russell Wilson: Wilson has only been a Seahawk for one season, but he’s already surpassed Rick Mirer and Jon Kitna during that time. Wilson had an extremely productive season (especially for a third-round pick) as he threw for 3,118 yards and added another 489 on the ground. He passed for 26 touchdowns while running for four and led Seattle to an 11-5 record, starting every game.

At just 5-foot-11, the N.C. State and Wisconsin product made the Pro Bowl in his first season. He was named Offensive Rookie of the Month in December and Offensive Player of the Week in Week 13.

Apparently teams in the NFC South don’t have a long history of greatness at quarterback. The winners from the Buccaneers, Falcons, Panthers and Saints are all recent players.

Brad Johnson won out for the Bucs. He’s the only quarterback who has taken Tampa Bay to the Super Bowl, and he won a ring for them in 2002. The runner up was Doug Williams with 31 percent of the vote.

For the Falcons, Matt Ryan took 56 percent. He beat out Steve Bartkowski (27 percent), Michael Vick (11 percent) and Chris Chandler (six percent).

Jake Delhomme took the Panthers to the Super Bowl in 2003, and for that, he was voted the best quarterback in Panthers history with 60 percent. Second-year player Cam Newton finished second with 27 percent.

Finally, Drew Brees beat out Aaron Brooks (25 percent), Archie Manning (four percent) and Bobby Hebert (three percent) as the best quarterback in Saints history.

Now you can vote for the best quarterback in NFC South history. Check out their credentials and decide below.

Brad Johnson: Johnson led the Buccaneers to their lone Super Bowl championship. That season, 2002, Johnson threw for 3,049 yards with 22 touchdowns and just six interceptions. He made his second Pro Bowl that year.

During his four-year career with Tampa Bay, Johnson led the Bucs to a 26-23 record. He threw for 10,940 yards, 64 touchdowns and 41 interceptions.

Matt Ryan: Ryan was drafted No. 3 overall in 2008 and hasn’t missed a start since. He’s led the Falcons to a 56-22 record during his five seasons, and won his first playoff game in 2012 against the Seahawks.

Ryan’s best year came in 2012 when he completed 68.6 percent of his passes. He had 32 touchdowns to 14 interceptions with 4,719 yards through the air.

Jake Delhomme: Delhomme is the career leader in passing for the Panthers. He’s also led the Panthers to their only Super Bowl in 2003. That team lost to the Patriots 32-29.

The Panthers went 53-37 during Delhomme’s seven seasons in Carolina. That included 10-5, 11-5 and 12-4 seasons. Delhomme made one Pro Bowl during his time in the NFL, in 2005. He threw for 3,421 yards with 24 touchdowns and 16 interceptions that season.

Drew Brees: The Chargers let Brees test free agency in 2006 and the rest is history. He’s made six Pro Bowls since and led the Saints to their first Super Bowl victory. Brees broke the single-season passing record in 2011 with 5,476 yards. He added 46 touchdowns and completed 71.2 percent of his passes.

During his time in New Orleans, the Saints have gone 69-42. Brees is the Saints’ franchise passing leader with 33,571 yards. The Purdue product is a two-time AP Offensive Player of the Year.

Archie Manning: Manning is best known as Peyton and Eli‘s father, but Archie had quite a career with the Saints. He played 11 years in New Orleans and led the team to a 35-91-3 record.

Manning made two Pro Bowls in 1978 and 1979. The Saints never made the playoffs under Manning.

Bobby Hebert: Hebert was a local legend after growing up in Baton Rouge, La., and attending Northwestern State University of Louisiana. After playing two seasons in the USFL, Hebert came over to the NFL and led the Saints to a 2-4 record in six starts.

Hebert took over as the Saints’ full-time starter in 1987 and led the team a 10-2 record. In seven years with the Saints, Hebert went 49-26. The Saints made the playoffs three times in that span. He failed to win a postseason game.

Aaron Brooks: Brooks took over as the Saints’ starter in 2000, his second season in the league. He pushed the team to a playoff berth and helped beat the Rams in the opening round. They lost to the Vikings in the divisional round.

Brooks went 38-44 as the Saints’ starter. He threw for 19,156 yards with 120 touchdowns and 84 yards during his six-year career in New Orleans.

Drew Brees: The Chargers let Brees test free agency in 2006 and the rest is history. He’s made six Pro Bowls since and led the Saints to their first Super Bowl victory.
Kerry Collins: Collins was the first player drafted by the Panthers franchise. He didn’t start the team’s first game — that honor goes to Frank Reich — but he started 42 games in their first four years in existence.

Collins made a Pro Bowl in 1996 when he led Carolina to a 9-3 record. He threw for 2,454 yards with 14 touchdowns and nine interceptions.

Steve Beuerlein: Beuerlein originally signed as a backup to Collins, but off-the-field issues, combined with a lack of productivity, got the younger quarterback benched. Beuerlein took over as a full-time starter in 1998. He made a Pro Bowl the next season when he led the Panthers to an 8-8 record.

In 1999, Beuerlein threw for 4,436 yards with 36 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. After another productive 2000 season, Beuerlein was shockingly cut by George Seifert. Chris Weinke took over as the starter the next year and led the Panthers to a 1-15 record.

Cam Newton: Newton was the No. 1 overall pick in 2011 and immediately made the Pro Bowl and was named the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year. After just two seasons, Newton is the fourth-leading passer in Carolina history.

Newton has thrown for 7,920 yards and 40 touchdowns in his first two years in the NFL. He’s also added 22 touchdowns on the ground on 1,447 yards. The Panthers are 13-19 under Newton.

Steve Bartkowski: Bartkowski holds the Falcons’ franchise record for career passing yards, though that record may only stand for one more year. Matt Ryan is 4,513 yards behind.

Bartkowski was the first overall pick in the 1975 draft and started for Atlanta for the next 11 years. His best season came in 1980 when he threw for 3,544 yards with a league-leading 31 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. That year was the first of two Pro Bowl seasons for Bartkowski.

Chris Chandler: This University of Washington product is the lone quarterback to lead the Falcons to the Super Bowl. In 1998, the Falcons were 13-1 in games that Chandler started. The Falcons would go on to lose to the Broncos 34-19.

Chandler made two Pro Bowls with the Falcons. The Super Bowl year was Chandler’s best season by far in the NFL. He threw for 3,154 yards with 25 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. In his Falcons career, Atlanta had a 34-33 record.

Michael Vick: Vick was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2001 draft, but he never fully lived up his hype as a passer. Vick was an exceptional rusher with the Falcons, especially in 2006 when he became the first quarterback in NFL history to run for 1,000 yards. His 8.4 yards per carry were also an NFL record.

Vick led the Falcons to a 74-67 record from 2001 to 2006. He threw for 11,505 yards with 71 touchdowns and 52 interceptions.

Trent Dilfer was included in the Ravens’ vote.

Doug Williams: Williams may be best known for his Super Bowl championship and MVP with the Redskins, but the quarterback’s best regular-season years were spent with the Buccaneers. Williams went 33-33-1 in five seasons with Tampa Bay and threw for 12,648 yards, 100 touchdowns and 93 interceptions.

Williams led the Bucs to the playoffs three times. In 1979, they lost in the NFC Championship Game to the Rams 9-0. Williams was the only starting African-American quarterback in the NFL at the time.

Steve DeBerg: DeBerg spent 17 years in the NFL, a number that matched what he wore on his uniform his entire career. The Buccaneers didn’t experience much success during DeBerg’s time there, as he led them to a 8-29 record.

DeBerg threw for 9,439 yards with 61 touchdowns and 62 interceptions during his six years with Tampa Bay.

Vinny Testaverde: Testaverde is the leading passer in Buccaneers franchise history. He played with Tampa Bay for six years and led them to a 24-48 record.

Testaverde’s best season with the Buccaneers came in 1990, when he led the team to a 6-7 record. He passed for 2,818 yards with 17 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. He was a two-time Pro Bowler, but those seasons came with the Ravens and Jets.

The people have spoken. We saw some close races among the NFC North teams, and that was to be expected — these are some of the oldest teams in the league’s history.

For the Bears, Sid Luckman beat out Jim McMahon, Ed Brown and Billy Wade. Bobby Layne took the crown for the Lions over second-place finisher Gary Danielson.

The toughest choice was in Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers finished third with 25.57 percent of the vote, Brett Favre finished second with 28.38 percent and Bart Starr came away victorious with 43.79 percent. Fran Tarkenton ran away from the rest of his competition in Minnesota with 89.4 percent. Daunte Culpepper finished second.

Now, let’s decide the greatest quarterback in NFC North history. Check out their credentials below and then vote.

Sid Luckman: Luckman was drafted No. 2 overall out of Columbia in 1939 and went on to have one of the best and most productive careers of his era. The Bears won four NFL Championships during his 12 years with franchise.

Luckman was a five-time All-Pro, the 1943 MVP and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1965. He led the league in passing and touchdowns in 1943, 1945 and 1946.

Bobby Layne: When Layne retired, he was the NFL career leader in passing yards, touchdowns, attempts and completions. He led the Lions to back-to-back NFL Championships in 1953 and 1954.

Layne was a five-time Pro Bowler and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1967. After Layne was traded during the 1958 season, he reportedly said the Lions would not win for another 50 years. Since that time, the Lions are one of two NFL teams that have not made the Super Bowl. The Lions are 1-10 in the playoffs since trading Layne. The proclamation is known as “The Curse of Bobby Layne.”

Bart Starr: The way Starr’s career started, you would have no idea he would go on to be one of the league’s all-time great quarterbacks. He was a 17th-round pick out of Alabama in 1956 and wouldn’t become Green Bay’s full-time starter until 1960.

Starr was a four-time All-Pro, five-time NFL champion, two-time Super Bowl champion, two-time Super Bowl MVP and the 1966 NFL MVP. Starr had a 9-1 playoff record and his career completion percentage was an NFL-record 57.4 percent when he retired.

Fran Tarkenton: Tarkenton was an undersized scrambling quarterback who brought mobility back to the position. He ran for 3,674 yards during his 18-year career and threw for another 47,003. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1986 and won an MVP award in 1975.

Tarkenton led the Vikings to the Super Bowl in 1973, 1974 and 1976, but Minnesota lost all three games. He was the Vikings’ first starting quarterback after he was drafted in the third round in the team’s inaugural 1961 season. Tarkenton had two stints with Minnesota from 1961 to 1966 and again from 1972 to 1978. He’s the Vikings’ career leader in almost all passing categories.

Editor’s note: As part of NFL’s Greatest Quarterback, fans will decide the best QB in each team’s history.

Joe Kapp: Kapp is the only Vikings quarterback to win an NFL championship with Minnesota. His Vikings beat the Cleveland Browns in the last NFL Championship Game in 1969. After losing to the Chiefs in Super Bowl IV, Kapp became a free agent. The Boston Patriots gave him a four-year contract, but he floundered and was out of the league the next season.

Kapp began his career with the CFL after getting drafted in the 18th round of the 1959 NFL draft. He was traded to the Vikings in one of the rare deals between a CFL and NFL team. Kapp was inducted into the CFL Hall of Fame in 1984.

Tommy Kramer: Injuries kept Kramer back from fulfilling his promise as an NFL quarterback, but he still turned in a nice career with Minnesota. He was drafted No. 27 overall in 1977 and took over for Tarkenton in 1979.

Kramer led the Vikings to the playoffs three times during his career and was a Pro Bowler in 1986 after compiling 24 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, 3,000 yards and a league-best 92.6 quarterback rating. “Two Minute Tommy” led the Vikings to 16 fourth-quarter comebacks and 20 game-winning drives.

Daunte Culpepper: Culpepper would fit right in with some of the bigger, more mobile quarterbacks of the current era of the NFL. He was 6-foot-4, over 250 pounds and a swift runner. He could also serve as a warning for teams like the Panthers, 49ers and Buccaneers, who have bigger mobile quarterbacks.

Culpepper set an NFL record in 2004 for most combined yards passing and rushing by a quarterback. He had 4,717 yards through the air and another 406 on the ground. He made the playoffs twice with the Vikings and was named to three Pro Bowls. Culpepper blew out his knee in 2005, though, and was never the same passer.

Dutch Clark: Clark was a charter member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1963. He led the Lions to an NFL Championship in 1935. Clark was a six-time All-Pro during his seven-year career in Detroit.

Clark, like the NFL in general at the time, wasn’t known for his passing. He accumulated 2,772 yards and 36 touchdowns on the ground and 1,507 yards, 11 touchdowns and 26 interceptions through the air.

Greg Landry: The Nashua, N.H., native was drafted No. 11 overall out of UMass in 1968. He was an All-Pro after his best season as a pro in 1971. He threw for 2,237 yards, 16 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

Landry led the Lions to a 40-41-3 record during his 11-year career with Detroit. Landry is fourth on the Lions’ career passing list.

Gary Danielson: Danielson may be better known as CBS’s SEC color analyst now, but once upon a time the Purdue product was a pretty good NFL quarterback. Danielson started out in the World Football League after going undrafted in 1974. He entered the NFL in 1976 and took over as Detroit’s starter in 1978.

Danielson went 23-28-1 in his eight years with the Lions. His best season came in 1980 when he led Detroit to a 9-7 record while throwing for 3,223 yards, 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

Ed Brown: Brown was a two-time Pro Bowler during his time in Chicago after being drafted in the sixth round out of the University of San Francisco. He accumulated a 41-25 record in Chicago and led the league in completion percentage in 1956.

His best season came in 1956 when he completed 57.1 percent of his passes — a league high — with 1,667 yards and 11 touchdowns. Brown was also the Bears’ punter.

Billy Wade: After being the Los Angeles Rams’ No. 1 overall pick in 1952, the Bears traded for Wade following the 1960 season. The deal paid almost immediate dividends for Chicago as they won the NFL Championship in 1963.

Wade was a two-time All-Pro with the Bears. He led Chicago to a 27-20-2 record during six years as a starter.

Jim McMahon: McMahon was probably better known for his shades than his actual quarterback play during the 1980s.

As the signal caller on the 1985 Bears, McMahon brought Chicago their last Super Bowl ring. That year was also his best as a pro, and one of his few healthy seasons. McMahon was plagued by injuries his entire career and never played a full 16-game season.

Editor’s note: As part of NFL’s Greatest Quarterback, fans will decide the best QB in each team’s history.

Arnie Herber: Herber was one of the league’s great early passers. He led the NFL in passing yards in 1932, 1934 and 1936. Herber and wide receiver Don Hutson were the league’s first great quarterback-wide receiver combination.

The Packers won four NFL Championships with Herber, and three of those came with the Regis University product under center. Herber was a three-time All-Pro and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1966.

Brett Favre: It might be easier listing the NFL records that Favre doesn’t hold. He won three straight NFL MVPs from 1995 to 1997 and made 11 Pro Bowls during his 20-year career.

The Packers made four NFC Championship games under Favre and two Super Bowls. The Packers beat the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI in 1996.

Aaron Rodgers: Since being the No. 24 overall pick in 2005, Rodgers has gone on to become one of the greatest quarterbacks in the game. The 2011 MVP is a three-time Pro Bowler and he led the Packers to a Super Bowl championship in 2010.

Rodgers has the highest career passer rating and the highest career completion percentage in NFL history. The Packers are 5-3 in the postseason under Rodgers.
