Mourinho is arguably the best manager in the business, but don’t tell Real Madrid that. He left the Spanish giant after a trophy-less 2012-13 season, which saw his relationships with certain players, club officials and the local media crumble.
Mourinho left the Spanish capital in June and returned to a place where he is loved: Chelsea FC. He will once again lead the Blues, but this team he is looking to instill a playing identity and build a legacy at the club. Mourinho’s evolution as a manger and his relationship with owner Roman Abramovich will likely determine if he can pull it off or not.
