7. Brennan Williams, OT, North Carolina
Sebastian Vollmer is a free agent this offseason, and even if he gets re-signed, his back is a constant injury risk. Enter right tackle Brennan Williams. The UNC product has New England ties — he attended Catholic Memorial High School and his father, Brent Williams, played with the Patriots as a defensive tackle. Williams got hurt midway through the 2012 season, but he’s fully healthy now and he’s the best right tackle prospect in the draft. He shows pinpoint technique in his footwork, and stays low for his impressive 6-foot-7 frame. Williams’ best attribute is kicking out against speedier edge defenders. He matches their quickness at the line and uses his long arms to keep them at bay.
