10. Celtics vs. Heat (Jan. 27, Nov. 9)
Bright spots were few and far between for the Celtics in 2013, but two of the brightest came against the best the NBA has to offer. The first came on Jan. 27, when the shorthanded Celts, fresh off the news that Rajon Rondo would be lost for the season, took down the eventual champion Miami Heat 100-98 in double overtime.
When the teams met again more than nine months later — with Boston purportedly in full-on rebuilding mode after unloading Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Doc Rivers during the offseason — Jeff Green powered the Celtics to another dramatic victory, nailing a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Brad Stevens the signature win of his young coaching career.
