Spring is always an exciting time in Boston, as fans are exposed to hockey, basketball and baseball all at the same time. NESN will bring an exciting mix of hockey and baseball on Tuesday night as Andy Brickley presents The Bricks Postseason Special at 5:30 p.m., previewing the exciting postseason ahead for the Bruins. The night doesn't stop there, as the Rays-Red Sox coverage immediately follows with Red Sox First Pitch starting at 6 p.m. NESN Daily with Jade McCarthy caps the night, airing directly after the Red Sox postgame coverage. Be sure to tune in.

‘The Bricks: 2010-11 Bruins Season Preview’ Airing Thursday Night at 7 p.m. on NESN

If there’s one person to fire up the Black and Gold faithful, it’s none other than Bruins alum and NESN color commentator Andy Brickley.

The Bricks: 2010/11 Bruins Season Preview airs Thursday night at 7 p.m. ET. The episode will feature Brick’s take on the European tour, where the Bruins split a pair of games with the Phoenix Coyotes. Brick will also offer his insight of the much-hyped regular season, where B’s fans are itching for wins after last postseason’s ugly downfall.

Be sure to tune in, as Brick will make his annual predictions about the Bruins and the rest of the league.

Andy Brickley Gives Johnny Boychuck ‘Brickhouse Award’

Andy Brickley awards defenseman Johnny Boychuck the “Brickhouse Award,” given to someone who “truly demonstrates what it means to be a Bruin,” says Brickley.

Boychuk was seventh on the depth chart to begin the season, a healthy scratch for 24 of the first 26 games.

“He maintained a team-first attitude,” Brickley says. “When injuries gave him an opportunity, he was ready.”

Andy Brickley Names Bruins’ Three Stars of First Half

Andy Brickley takes a look back at the first half of the season for the Bruins, naming his top three stars of the half.

“It was a roller coaster season for the Bruins,” Brickley said. “There were some good performances along some tough stretches of play.”

Marco Sturm took home the No. 3 spot with 28 points in the first half, while young goalie Tuukka Rask grabbed the second spot.

“When you play backup to the reigning Vezina trophy winner, you want to give the team a chance to win. Rask has done that and much more,” said Brickley.

The No. 1 spot belongs to none other than Patrice Bergeron, whom Brickley called the Bruins’ most complete player. Check out Brickley’s breakdown of the three in the video below.

Andy Brickley Hands Out Midseason Awards on The Bricks

Tune in Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 8 p.m. to watch The Bricks: Bruins Midseason Awards.

NESN play-by-play analyst Andy Brickley will pick the Bruins top goals, saves, games and fights from the first half of the season.

Brick also will hand out a "Brick House" Award to the player who most exemplifies what it means to wear the "B" on the front of the jersey and announce his "Three Stars" of the first half.
