Scratch Steve Nash's name off the list of post-2010 NBA free agents.

According to ESPN.com's Marc Stein, Nash has agreed to a two-year extension worth about $22 million — a deal that will keep Nash in a Suns uniform through the 2011-12 season.

Phoenix reportedly offered Nash a two-year, $20 million extension two weeks ago, then increased that to $22 million, as re-signing the former league MVP became the team's No. 1 offseason priority.

Unless the signing is part of a sign-and-trade — which is highly unlikely — the deal ends all speculation of Nash rejoining former Suns coach Mike D’Antoni, who now coaches the New York Knicks.

"[Nash] is one of the hardest-working and most resilient athletes to have ever played in the NBA," Nash's agent, Bill Duffy, told Stein. "He earns every penny."

Nash reportedly plans to make the announcement official via his Twitter page on Monday.
