Good news for fans of the NFL Network — and Comcast subscribers.

Starting on Saturday, the station will switch from the provider's subscription-only tier to the digital classic level, which means it will become available to thousands more Boston-area Comcast subscribers.

The NFL Network features 24 hours a day of football coverage from the past and the present and was launched in November of 2003.
