The Patriots are down to just three unsigned draft picks after the club inked six of their 2009 selections on Thursday.

New England has signed second-round draft picks
Ron Brace (40th overall; defensive lineman out of Boston College) and Sebastian Vollmer (58th overall; offensive lineman out of Houston), third-rounder Brandon Tate (83rd overall; a wide receiver out of North Carolina), fifth-rounder
Geroge Bussey (OL, Louisville), sixth-rounder Myron Pryor (DL, Kentucky) and Julian Edelman, a wide receiver from Kent State plucked in the seventh round.

With these six aboard, that just leaves New England's top draft pick, strong safety Patrick Chung, long snapper Jake
Ingram
and injured third-round linebacker Tyrone McKenzie as the selections still
unsigned.

The Pats also made other moves Thursday, releasing first-year wideout Robert Ortiz. They also placed running back Eric
Kettani
and receiver Tyree Barnes on the reserve/military list. Both Kettani and Tyree
are undrafted rookies out of Navy.
