Safety Patrick Chung, the most high-profile unsigned pick from this year's draft, has officially signed with the Patriots, according to the Boston Globe's Mike Reiss, and reported to camp on time.

The 5-foot-11, 212-pounder out of Oregon was the Pats' top overall pick, selected at 34th overall in April. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Last season with the Ducks, Chung recorded 92 total tackles while making two sacks, one interception and forcing one fumble.

The veteran reporting date is Wednesday, with training camp officially opening on Thursday.
